The XL Pro 25EEAA is a two-line alpha-numeric gun. This gun prints ten characters across.

The XL Pro25EEAA price marking label gun is a basic, easy-to-use price marking gun that has proven to be tough and long-lasting. The XL PRO 25EEAA labels are great for clear pricing for indoor and outdoor products. With the standard XL Pro five-year warranty, the 25EEAA is guaranteed to last.

The amazing open loading system of the XL labelers in general prevents loose labels from falling into the insides of the gun and ensures smooth operations and ease in loading and removing labels. The XL Pro guns also feature print adjustment not found on other guns.

P2516 Labels

The P2516 labels are used in a number of XL Pro pricing guns that belong to the 25 series. They include the two liners - 25EC, 25EE, 25EEA and 25EEAA, as well as the one liner – 25EEAA. The difference between each gun is the band setup as well as the number of characters that each one prints on the label.

The labels for the XL Pro 25 two liner series are available in fifteen different colors, as well as various different stock prints, including “FROZEN,” “SELL BY,” and “USE BY.” The middle band of the label may also be used for custom print. When these labels are used in the one liner, the characters are larger and therefore take up the majority of the label, leaving the top area for preprinting or custom imprinting.

Depending on the set up of the gun, these labels can print five, seven, or ten digits per line on a 1" x 5/8" label, also known as the P2516.

The P2516 labels are available with or without security slits. The security slits on the P2516 are in the form of an “x” across the label. If not specified, the labels will have slits and general adhesive. The labels are available with removable adhesive, upon request.

Labels come twenty-one rolls per box. Each roll contains 1,000 labels and there are 8 boxes per case. This means that a case includes a total of 168,000 labels, which are divided into 168 rolls. Boxes may be referred to as sleeves or packages. Rolls are used to refill the actual pricing gun.

Ink rollers for the guns are also replaceable; one is usually included with the purchase of a gun and always with a sleeve of labels.

XL Pro guns are plastic and lightweight, perfect for labeling throughout the store.

If necessary, they can usually be repaired while walking through the issues with a customer service representative over the phone.

The XL Pro guns have a five-year warranty.

XL PRO 25EEAA – Band Setup

The standard band set up for the XL Pro 25EEAA has ten bands on both lines. All the bands on the 25EEAA are identical. They all include all alpha and numeric symbols. Thus, the XL 25EEAA is know as an alphanumeric gun.

Printing Instructions for the Alpha Numeric Bands on an XL Pro Pricing Gun

When using an XL Pro pricing gun with the option to print alpha-numeric, you must set the print in the band window to the corresponding alpha-numeric character.

To better understand which letters correspond to each other, please see the sticker on the front of the band window where you would set the print.

If you would like to print an “A,” the letter “T” should be visible in the band window.

The opposite is true as well. In order to print an “X,” the letter “E” should be visible in the band window.

For example, to print the word “MAY,” the following should be visible in the band window: “6TF.”

The reason for this setup is a simple but technical one. There are approximately 10 numbers on a regular band, while an alpha band contains at least 26. Since each character adds to the size of the band, it is not possible for a band to hold duplicates of each letter, but it is possible to have duplicates of each number on a regular band.
